HSE is one of the key focus areas in BIS Production Partner. Performing our work in a skilled, safe and healthy manner is a key for long-term success. Our HSE policy says: The target is a working environment where solid competence and mastering of job tasks are in focus, to avoid injuries and negative health effects on short and long term. Our HSE work is organized according to national laws and requirements in the countries where we are present. Our HSE work is focused on strong management and employee involvement in HSE matters.
Our HSE system consists of procedures describing our most important HSE tools and best practices achieved by learning in networks and exchanging experiences across units. Our HSE system will be certified according to the OHSAS 18001-standard “Occupational health and safety management system”.
Management of HSE in daily business is based on the annual business plan and there are several specific KPIs established for HSE. These are monitored monthly and followed up continuously.
Quality
Quality policy and goals:
We want to cover our customers’ current expectations and future demands.This shall be achieved through systematic and long-term focus regarding:
- Active use of feedback from customers as an aid in defining the proper quality of our products.
- A good understanding of our goals in the whole organisation
- Systematic use and follow-up of improvement tools in the whole organisation
- The management’s obligation to standardise and improve the specified work processes
The unit’s quality goals are established as KPIs in the annual Business Plan and the results are followed up with monthly reporting. In addition, claims, customer complaints and non-conformances are registered and processed.
Analysis of measurements of customers and employees’ satisfaction, of work processes and of non-conformances in quality and HSE are important elements in our improvement work.
Standardised work processes shall ensure that proper quality is achieved.
All units in BIS Production Partner are certified to NS-EN-ISO 9001. The quality system in the different units in BIS Production Partner shall be developed in accordance with this standard.
