BIS Production Partner at Rjukan has the personnel and technical responsibilities for maintenance activities in the power plant market. In addition the unit carries out maintenance for internal and external industry, public activities and commerce& industry in general.

The industry and energy centre at Rjukan is situated at the very heart of Telemark County. Electrical energy has been produced here since the beginning of the previous century. BIS Production Partner’s workshop units here are in charge of the technical and personnel aspects of our maintenance activities in the power plant market. This presents immense, motivating challenges in a demanding market.
The unit at Rjukan is also an important supplier for local industry, public activities and commerce & industry in general. There are currently around 65 persons employed at this unit.

Rjukan lies in the midst of one of Norway’s largest regions for network hydro-electric power – the counties of Telemark, Buskerud, Hordaland, Rogaland and Vest and Øst Agder. In effect this means there are only short distances between many of Norway’s largest and most important power plants. BIS Production Partner also supplies maintenance services to power plants outside these neighbouring districts. We also service power plant customers elsewhere in the country, and have carried out rehabilitation and revisions for most of the major power supply producers in Norway.
