Maintenance review, an offer for small- and medium size companies
Maintenance review is our new product for small- and medium size companies. The methodology is based on BIS PP’s «Best Practices» and visualize areas for development of the maintenance function in the customer’s organization.
The product Maintenance review is a scaled-down BIS Production Partners (BIS PP) Maintenance Analysis. The scope is fit for small- and medium size companies, tells Reidar Stenseth in BIS PP Consultancy.
Experience
The Maintenance review is based on BIS PPs «Best Practices». This means that small- and medium size companies gain access to the vast experience-pool BIS PP has gained through the years.
Maintenance review takes place in a tight cooperation with the customer. We start with an Interview-process with six-to-eight core personnel.This registers work-processes of the maintenance in the company, and communication of maintenance and the operational organization, tells Stenseth.The goal is to prevent down-time, reduce cost and better HES-results for the customer.
Our work results in a report including a goal-setting description, with specific recommendations for improvements. This report creates the foundation for the company’s decisions for further development of their maintenance program.
Offer services
The report finalizes the maintenance review, but BIS PP is certainly interested in assisting the customer in the improvement process. We may provide maintenance, consulting, and provide maintenance manpower.
The purpose of the maintenance review is for the customer to gain a solid foundation for the development of his own organization for improvement of maintenance. It is entirely up to the customer, emphasizes Mr Stenseth. It is essential that the customer utilizes the report to achieve optimum performance in our company.
