BIS Production Partner has been strengthened by acquisition.
BIS Production Partner has acquired ISS Industries AS, and its sister-company IPEC Kristiansand, and the BIS Industriteknik AB in Sweden.
The ISS Industri AS acquisition:
BIS Production Partner has, effective March 1st, 2010, acquired ISS Industri AS and its sister company IPEC Kristiansand, from ISS Facility Services AS. These companies have collectively 250 employees, located in Odda, Høyanger, and Kristiansand. The purchase strengthens BIS Production Partner as provider of comprehensive services of industrial maintenance and engineering in Norway. The acquirements make a foundation for further advancements at Sørlandet region.
The BIS Industriteknik AB acquisition:
BIS Production Partner has, effective January 1st, 2010, acquired BIS Industriteknik AB from our Swedish sister company in the Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services group (BIS). The company has locations in Gavle, Sundsvall, Sandviken, Borlange, and Vanersborg, and employs 113. The company duplicates BIS’s major products and will make complete our presence at important industrial locations in Sweden. BIS Production Partner is now established at eight locations in Sweden.
The acquired companies have collectively 363 employees. The acquirements will reinforce BIS Production Partner Group ‘s position as the leading company in industrial maintenance for the processing industry in Norway and Sweden. Our company is in a period of growth, and will be established in all five Nordic countries within five years.
Morten Mathisen has been appointed divisional head for Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services.
From April 1st, Morten Mathisen has been appointed divisional head for Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services. He will have the responsibility for BIS’s operation in the Nordic region. The operation comprehends 3900 employees, and estimated sales of four billion NOK. Mathisen continues in his position of managing director for BIS Production Partner.
