Strategic Maintenance Contract in Stenungsund
BIS Production Partner AB has together with the Petrochemical Company BOREALIS in Stenungsund signed a long-term partnership contract which covers all production related maintenance work, preparation of maintenance work and preventive maintenance on the Borealis cracker plant, as well as polyethylene plants.
The contract means a transition of the internal maintenance activities on Borealis two plants, comprising approximatively 140 employees thus transferred to employment with BIS Production Partner AB. Additionally BIS Production Partner AB will also be liable for procurement and execution responsibility of external suppliers of production-related maintenance when needed.
