BIS Production Partner IM operates according to the ‘fluctuating labour force’ principle. This means we have a wide, composite staff with qualified people that carry out various tasks where the need is greatest – depending on the season or other natural fluctuations in the market. This allows us to be highly flexible, and enables us to mobilise many people at short notice.

Extensive competence

BIS Production Partner IM establishes contact with, and is engaged in hiring out qualified personnel for shutdowns, turnarounds, holiday temps, sick leave temps etc. We supply competence in all categories from support workers to skilled workers, engineers and leaders at various levels. We undertake managing all or part of our customer’s work force in short or longer periods.

Our employees

All our employees have an industrial background and are trained in HES. Most of them are fulltime employed. The company pays tariff rates. This means employees receive the basic wage and supplements from the company they are employed at. Our extensive knowledge and close association with industry in Grenland, means that many of our employees are sooner or later hired permanently by our customers.

Reengineering

We have comprehensive experience in reorganisation processes. We place considerable emphasis on ensuring top and middle management have adequate competence, so that they are motivated and secure in the process they will lead their staff through. Another factor we consider important is involving the employees’ representatives at an early point in time so that all parties pull in the same direction during the process.
We collaborate closely with industry and commerce. This enables us to find sound, sustainable solutions such as new employment or clarification to public authorities for those affected by the reorganisation

Recruitment

BIS Production Partner IM undertakes responsibility for recruitment. This involves advertising in actual media, interviews and testing of actual candidates. The customer is involved throughout the selection process. By utilising BIS Production Partner IM you reduce the risk considerably of costly, incorrect employments.

Training

BIS Production Partner IM is responsible for documented and certified training of its own and customers’ employees. We adapt training programs in cooperation with our customers. We also have a close cooperation with NAV (State employment office) in the regions where our customers are located.
