Training
BIS Production Partner’s section for industry and trades training is linked to our contract concepts, products and services that we supply or general trades-related courses.
Through the years BIS Production Partner has consolidated experience in operational and maintenance-related trades. Our courses can be adapted to meet the requirements for qualification for the trade certificate. Trade courses held include courses in these subjects
- Process industry
- Mechanical industry
- Automation
There is no requirement for previous practice to sit the theory examination in the particular trade. If the student wishes to sit the practical test as an external candidate, it is mandatory with five years practical experience in the trade concerned.
Trade certificate for apprentices
BIS Production Partner can administrate and organise the ‘lead-up’ to the actual trade certificate examination. We prepare training plans and test the apprentices’ levels of competence for the practical test. Our consultants are well versed in public examination procedures.
BIS Production Partner has also developed a separate refresher course for process industry apprentices.
Technical trades school
On enquiry we can set up training/tuition according to the curriculum for technical trades schools. Training can be based on the need to update knowledge of the trade, or a wish to achieve qualification to sit a public examination.
