Maintenance Consultancy Services
Three-step plan:
1) Identify the present situation by carrying out a Maintenance review
2) Prepare a project mandate and objective
3) Set up an improvement project for the initiation and implementation of improvements
Work methodology
BIS Production Partner along with the customer’s operations and maintenance management establish an improvement project. We make use of both TQM tools and tools acquired from other improvement processes. In addition, the following areas are covered:
- Risk analyses and maintenance programme optimisation (RCM/FMECA).
- Recording of the effect maintenance operations have on production downtime.
- OEE/Uptime recordings.
Analysis and Project Group
The group comprises individuals from the operations and maintenance departments. Areas of improvement are selected based on the facts presented and objectives are set.
Final report
A final report is prepared which includes an evaluation of the objectives achieved with respect to the project mandate. In addition to this recommendations are made on how to secure the results achieved.
