Maintenance Analysis
BIS Production Partner has developed a method to review how maintenance is organised and executed within a company. This review is based on BIS Production Partner`’s best practice and identifies areas for improvement.
BIS Production Partner is a key maintenance partner in the Nordic Region, with customers in the rest of Europe too. We offer our expertise and our services to industry, power stations and the public sector in our primary fields of maintenance services, workshop services, refractory (industrial masonry), project design and modification plus advisory services and training. Regardless of the scope, our aim is to contribute to cost reduction, increased operational availability and an enhanced level of health, safety and environment for our customers.
Project
The analysis is organised as a project involving the customer and BIS Production Partner.
Process
Facts concerning the company are collected. A plant survey is made of the sites and interviews are carried out with relevant personnel from the customer’s organisation. The present state of maintenance is verified with the customer before proposal for improvement actions are presented.
Report
The report provides a description of improvement potentials for deliveries from the maintenance process within the following areas: HSE, Production and Costs. The report contains proposals for activities and further work to ensure that the potentials identified are reached. The report will provide an excellent basis for Company Management to decide on further actions needed to develop their Maintenance in line with Best Practice.
Best Practice
A comparison is made with Best Practice for all elements involved in a modern maintenance process.
