Planned shutdown
Verifications BIS Production Partnerhar has developed a unique method for the verification of preparation, planning and execution of planned shutdowns.
BIS Production Partner is a key maintenance partner in Norway, with customers in the rest of Europe too. We offer our expertise and our services to industry, power stations and the public sector in our primary fields of maintenance services, workshop services, refractory (industrial masonry), project design and modification plus advisory services and training. Our services are tailored to the ustomer’s needs and range from small one-off assignments to turnkey deliveries. Regardless of the scope, our aim is to contribute to cost reduction, increased operational availability and an enhanced level of health, safety and environment for our customers.
Best Practice
Throughout the years we have acquired experience from numerous planned shutdowns within BIS Production Partner, and a “Best Practice” for the execution of planned shutdowns have been developed. Our objective is to contribute towards ensuring reduced costs, increased uptime and good HSE results.
Verification
Three verifications are made during preparations, planning and termination of the shutdown, whereby the objective is to identify deviations in relation to Best Practice. Verifications carried out prior to execution shall ensure and improve the planned shutdown while verifications carried out after the execution are intended to ensure improved planned shutdowns in the future.
Verification reports
Two reports are prepared that recommend measures for the planned shutdown. The final report is prepared following the shutdown and will contain recommendations for improvements to be applied to the next planned shutdown. In addition to this, the shutdown will be ranked in relation to “Best Practice” in order to measure improvements.
Verification team
The team comprises personnel from the customer and BIS Production Partner.
